About Mark
Mark Emde is an Associate at Block45 Legal. He has practical experience in many areas of law including patent prosecution, trademark prosecution, intellectual property protection and enforcement, inter partes reviews, and litigation.
A graduate of the Colorado School of Mines and the University of Oklahoma, Mark has degrees in both mechanical and civil engineering. Before pursuing a career as an attorney, Mark worked as a forensic analyst, investigating fires, floods, explosions, and other damages caused by natural disasters or mechanical failures. He also spent time in oil and gas, business development, and advertising.
Today, Mark continues to pursue his passion of helping others through assisting in their intellectual property and business needs. His goal is to provide legal solutions to his clients on all levels and to help protect their ideas, companies, and interests.
Outside of work, Mark spends his time playing fiddle or mandolin in folk/bluegrass settings and also enjoys all seasonal activities that Colorado has to offer, including skiing, camping, running, and hiking.
