Anthony Santos joins the firm as an Associate, specializing in various types of Civil Litigation at the trial and appellate levels, as well as Criminal Defense.

Anthony is admitted to practice and handle cases in Colorado state and federal courts and has tried over 70 trials to a jury, as well as conducted hundreds of motions hearings in front of over 50 different county and district court judges and magistrates across Colorado.

Anthony is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine with a double major in Social Behavioral Psychology and Criminology. Mr. Santos subsequently made his way out to Boulder, Colorado to attend the University of Colorado School of Law. While in law school, he served as the Notes and Comments Editor for the Colorado Natural Resources, Energy, & Environmental Law.

Before joining Block 45, Anthony was a Deputy District Attorney for the 1 st Judicial District in Jefferson County, Colorado and the 4 th Judicial District Attorney in Colorado Springs prior to that. As a Deputy DA, Anthony worked on every level of a criminal case, from lower misdemeanors to class one felonies. Most recently, Anthony was a prosecutor for the Special Victims Unit within the 1st Judicial District Attorney’s Office, specializing in prosecuting and trying cases involving felony crimes committed against children. Anthony has handled every aspect of guiding a case from filing through trial.

Anthony lives in Denver with his wife Alaina, his young child, and their Beagle, Berlin. In his spare time, Anthony enjoys Muay Thai Kickboxing, snowboarding, and traveling with his family. He is also a big sports fan, rooting for the Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Dodgers and Dallas Cowboys.
