Zachary Huey is the corporate associate at Block45 Legal. He is invested in client goals and seeks to identify and resolve legal issues before they impact client success. He puts client needs first and takes pride in creating solutions to complex problems. His expertise includes project finance and development, statutory analysis, contract drafting, and general corporate needs.
A graduate of the College of Charleston, Zach earned his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Anthropology in 2013 with honors. Following graduation, he spent two years working at a non-profit on Johns Island South Carolina. In 2015, he moved to Colorado to attend the University of Colorado Law School.
During law school, Zach has focused on the intersection of the law and real-world concerns. To that end he has gained extensive practical experience across a diverse array of fields. He has experience working with the in-house counsel of a fortune 500 company, clerking with three administrative law judges, and working in the Colorado governor’s office. He has worked on civil suits, assisted cities defend statutes from preemption suits, provided analysis on the correct interpretation of statutes and regulations, formed corporate entities, and written comprehensive policies and procedures. Zach was awarded “Best Corporate Law Student.”
Outside of work, Zach is a passionate hobby chef. He and his wife enjoy the outdoors and spending time with their dog. He is also an avid baseball fan, and can often be found at Coors Field cheering on the Rockies.
