About JOHN

John Buchenic has eight years of legal experience and a unique background in the blockchain space. He holds an LL.M. in Democratic Governance and Rule of Law from Ohio Northern University, where he also earned his J.D. For the past three years, he has successfully run a Bitcoin mining company, gaining invaluable insights into the world of blockchain technology and its implications for law. This dual expertise uniquely positions John to navigate the uncertainties of the cryptocurrency space, providing innovative and pragmatic legal solutions to our clients.

Before joining our firm, John spent seven years as a solo practitioner, honing skills across multiple legal areas, and gaining extensive courtroom experience in several areas of law. These include criminal defense at both trial and appellate levels, business law, probate planning, and asset protection. His track record also includes a stint as a Guardian Ad Litem and practicing civil defense for a globally recognized piano manufacturer.

Beyond his professional commitments, John is dedicated to making a difference in the community. John volunteers with Global Development Solutions, a non-profit organization focused on STEM education and food security and prioritizes spending quality time with his family.
